Peter John Babich MBE

Drifted peacefully away in his sleep at home on February 2nd, 2025 aged 92 years.
Beloved husband of 59 years to Lise Babich, treasured father to Joseph, David and Michael, loving father-in-law to Julie and Paula and proud Dida to Peter, Luke, Annelise, Sophia and Amara.
Peter Babich was the first born son to Mara and Josip Babich of Dalmatia, born in Auckland on the 20th June 1932.
He is survived by sisters Shirley Kostanich and Maureen Radford, and has joined his sister, the late Ivy Cibilich and brother, Joe Babich.
The family extends its gratitude to Peter's team of carers, who brought only compassion and flawless service to the last years of Peter's life. We would have been lost without you on our side. Thank you all.
The service will be held Monday 10th, at 10am on the premises of Morrisons Funerals, at 220 Universal Drive, Henderson
